Henriette, the voice of an angel, is 10 years old. The association created by Princesse Josepha, JosAtilde;©phine Malerbe, celebrated this anniversary on March 14th at the site of the Picasso music and dance conservatory, along with the audience, volunteers, friends, artists who have been involved with the association for 10 years, the association’s partners, and the supporting City.
During this charity concert, presented by host ValAtilde;©rie Battista, singer Alexis Hoffmann, pianist Marc Levantidis, saxophonist Jean-Jacques Lion, newcomer to the song Tyffany Muzellec, and others performed on stage. The journey of Josepha Malerbe, who came from Cameroon and passed through Chad to fight against violence in all its forms, was recounted.
She is the author of a book where she tells the story of her sister Henriette, a victim of domestic violence. Josepha is a charismatic young woman, always ready to listen, advise, and help women who are victims of violence.
Jean-Jacques Lion played “Imagine” on the saxophone, hoping for a better world. Then, young women and a boy courageously shared their testimonies. Sandrine recounted her painful story from Benin to France, where she was helped by Josepha after a very difficult journey: orphaned by her father, mistreated by her mother, exploited and manipulated by men along the way.
Many people have crossed paths with Princesse Josepha, such as Dany Mecev 10 years ago and Pastor Anderson, who became the association’s godfather. Carine, a police chief appointed to the Martigues police station, has made it her mission to fight against violence against women, elderly people, and harassed children. She was also on stage in the auditorium with Marc Levantidis, where they were joined by all the young volunteers of the association.
