The second chance duel between the magnificent twins from the Big Brother Canada house, gymnast Fèlix Dolci and daily routine worker Marie-Ève Beauregard, took place Sunday night with the hope of making an unexpected comeback to the game, just one week before the grand finale.

Published at 7:15, the elimination night witnessed a redemption challenge involving mini-can stacking with large clips, a precise activity prone to shaking and frustration. After his victory, Olympic athlete Fèlix Dolci could have performed his signature Dol-Shake, an intense hand rubbing gesture that expresses his excitement, reminiscent of Samuel’s move in Occupation Double 5 back in 2008.

Fèlix’s eviction earlier in the week was due to a mistake by his partner, Marie-Ève, putting comedian Oussama Fares and content creator Citron Rose in danger. Winning the challenge, contestant Gabrielle played smartly by saving Citron Rose from elimination, knowing that Marie-Ève had no other replacement option but her ally Fèlix Dolci.

In a surprising move, Gabrielle and Citron teamed up to eliminate a strong competitor (Farewell, Fèlix!) and keep Oussama in the game. Despite Oussama’s likable personality, his social strategy did not impress the jury as much as crucial challenge victories.

Marie-Ève and Fèlix made history by winning a total of six challenges together in ten weeks, with Marie-Ève securing four and Fèlix two patronages.

Oussama welcomed Fèlix back in the house, but if Fèlix betrays Oussama in the finale, the latter will undoubtedly face consequences.

For the first time since 2023, the Big Brother Canada contestants faced a silver veto challenge, introducing a new twist to the game mechanics. This season lacks clarity in explaining certain rules of the game, raising questions about expired privileges and unused game tools.

Marie-Ève, despite holding the record for the most patronages in a season, faced criticism from colleagues for her abrasive and confrontational methods which might affect her chances in the final vote.

The latest episode of the singing competition show “La Voix” was more thrilling, with only eight remaining contestants progressing to the semi-finals. Coach Roxane surprised by replacing a favorite contestant with a new singer, impacting the dynamics of the competition.

In France D’Amour’s team, country music dominated with the selection of two proud representatives. In Mario Pelchat’s team, the controversy ended with the introduction of a new member, Jade Mathieu.

Despite risks, contestants showcased their best in the Sunday gala, with some standing out more than others. Corneille will feature two 17-year-old recruits in the upcoming round, with cautious decisions made based on performance and potential.

In a non-scandalous elimination, Sam Champagne’s dream faded after a shaky performance, signaling the end of his journey in the competition.
