On Friday, March 20th, the judges of “Dancing with the Stars” will each form their own team for the Judges’ Battle. The couples still in competition now know which judge they will be working with throughout the week and dancing with on the live show.
Aired on Friday, March 20th on TF1, the seventh episode of “Dancing with the Stars 2026” will have the theme of the Judges’ Battle. Each judge will lead a team composed of two couples. In a preview revealed on TF1 +, the eight remaining duos discovered the judges who will accompany them throughout the week. Laure Manaudou and Juju Fitcats are in Chris Marques’s team.
Lucie Bernardoni and Marcus are in Jean-Marc Généreux’s team, who announced on the rehearsal of “Star Academy” that she will dance a quickstep to the song “You’re the One That I Want” from the musical “Grease.” Julien Lieb and Samuel Bambi are in Fauve Hautot’s team, while Maghla and Emma join Mel Charlot’s team. The two candidates will respectively dance a samba and a salsa.
In the aftermath of the last episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” Camille Combal explained the rules of this new Judges’ Battle. The team with the lowest score will have to face off, and one of them will leave the show. “Either you win together, you qualify together, or in a moment, friends will become enemies,” explained the host.
Before this announcement, the candidates learned of the elimination of Angélique Angarni-Filopon, who had reached the 5th place in the overall ranking with 30 points. However, the former Miss France did not convince viewers to vote for her against Julien Lieb, who came last with 27 points. Shocked, the beauty queen burst into tears. “I wanted to go further,” she revealed.
Last week, two candidates tied for first place in the ranking with 35 points: Emma and Juju Fitcats. They were followed by Samuel Bambi with 34 points and Lucie Bernardoni with 33 points. Marcus and Maghla were tied for sixth place with 29 points. This week, the Judges’ Battle could turn everything upside down.
