It took him 9 months of hard work to build his cabin. Singer Vianney completed the challenge he set himself last summer when he decided to pause his music career to recharge and embark on a much more original project: building a refuge deep in the forest.
«I planned to build a cabin, a place where I could put a piano, a bed, a table that I build with my own hands especially, I think that’s the aspect that interests me. Not to produce anymore, but to build», he explained in a video posted on his TikTok account in June 2025, at the beginning of the project.
Throughout the seasons, the singer braved the snow and solitude to build his cabin with more or less difficulty. Fortunately, he was able to rely on the support of his wife and children, who are seen in the videos documenting the work.
A beautiful house and millions of views
Vianney shared this hands-on experience on his YouTube channel and social media, which was well received by his community, as evidenced by the millions of views under his posts. A success that surprised the singer, who wrote on his Facebook page: «I never thought for a second that you would be interested. All your words, your thoughts, have been my fuel. In rain, snow, or solitude, all of this has been incredibly important. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.»
Now that his little house is finished, Vianney announced to his fans that he will lock himself in it for a month with his instruments and tape recorder to make music. So it’s time to say goodbye to “Vianney the carpenter,” as he calls himself, and welcome back the singer.
