This summer, the cinema arrives in the neighborhoods of Aytré in Charente-Maritime. The city offers four free outdoor cinema sessions on Thursdays, August 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2026, starting at 9:30 pm thanks to the “ciné-mobile”. Here are the films that will be screened:
- Finding Nemo (2003), directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich;
- Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (2002), directed by Alain Chabat;
- On a Bicycle (2025), directed by Mathias Mlekuz;
- Forced Holidays (2025), directed by François Prévôt-Leygonie and Stephan Archinard.
A Scenario Shared with Residents
For this edition, the city of Aytré involved residents in the selection of films. Two out of the four screenings were chosen by citizens through a vote, while the other two were selected by the municipality to ensure a varied program. If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor screening, the sessions will be moved to the Jules Ferry hall.
