Corvus Belli’s sensational board game throughout the world, Infinity, a spy-warfare game set in a high-tech science fiction universe, continues to expand its team of talents for its animated spin-off series, Infinity: Le Paradis perdu, by adding entertainment veterans Eric S. Rollman and Craig Kyle as key team members under the direction of the president of Lex+Otis Studios and showrunner of the series, Jay Oliva.
Named as the executive producer of the series, Eric S. Rollman is an Emmy Award-winning producer and founder of Rollman Entertainment, specializing in adapting top-tier intellectual properties into successful television series and streaming platforms. With experience as the president of Marvel Animation and leadership roles at Saban and Fox Family Productions, Rollman has built his career by translating iconic brands into compelling, character-focused content. Recently, his work has focused on adapting major video game franchises for the screen, working with clients like Activision Blizzard, Plarium, and NEXON on titles such as Skylanders Academy, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, RAID: Shadow Legends, and Infinity.
“Some teams don’t rebuild, they simply reunite,” Rollman stated. “I am truly honored to reunite with these two exceptionally talented friends to bring the world of Infinity to life in animation.”
Craig Kyle, who will serve as the head writer of Infinity: Le Paradis perdu, is a storyteller, producer, and creative director with experience spanning animation, live-action film, streaming, and AAA games. As the creator of X-23 (Laura Kinney), co-writer of Thor: Ragnarok, and co-creator and showrunner of Pacific Rim: The Black (Netflix/Legendary), Kyle has spent twenty years developing genre franchises at Marvel, Netflix, Bungie, and Epic Games. As the Vice President of Creative Development at Marvel Animation, he oversaw the production of six television series and eight films. Previously, as the Senior Vice President of Production and Development at Marvel Studios, he served as an executive producer on Thor and was a founding member of the creative team behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
“This feels like the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” Kyle expressed. “Infinity: Le Paradis perdu… This project illuminates a universe still unknown to the public, brimming with stories that will transform every character and every world we explore,” Kyle emphasized. “To be back here, from the start, with people I trust to bring this project to fruition, is simply exhilarating.”
Infinity‘s expansion into animation is led by producer/director Jay Olive, who has directed nine animated films for Warner Bros., including the renowned duology Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, as well as Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods.
“Infinity: Le Paradis perdu… Our journey has been incredible thus far, and having worked closely with Eric and Kyle on previous projects, I know that their presence aboard will continue to enrich and broaden our horizons,” Oliva added. “Both will occupy essential leadership roles: Eric will play a vital role in developing our strategic relationships, while Craig will drive our team of writers. We are very fortunate to welcome such experienced, passionate, collaborative, and creative visionaries into a team filled with exceptional talent in the animation industry.”
Produced by Lex+Otis Studios, Infinity: Le Paradis perdu was showcased to the French film industry at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Exclusive images from the pilot, as well as a video clip from the music recording session at Abbey Road Studios, were unveiled at San Diego and New York Comic-Con panels. Lex+Otis and Corvus Belli are currently in negotiations for the series distribution.
