Presentation
It is the artist Lily Jung who is performing this series of concerts with the “Chants of a World” show. A former participant in the “The Voice” show in 2019 and author of 13 albums, she will present, with her latest work, a musical journey through Mongolia, Tibet, China, Romania, Bulgaria, Congo, and Siberia. On stage, the artist accompanies herself with drums, bells, autoharp, Tibetan singing bowl, and shrutibox (a free reed instrument).
Each concert is accompanied by a presentation of the space, entitled “Listening to the place”. For this premiere, architect Enrico Realacci, who designed the Hemera coworking center in Belvès, and renovated the Cheval Bleu hotel in Monpazier, will offer his personal, poetic vision on the space and its symbols, the acoustics, light, and the spiritual and emotional dimension of the Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption church.
