The Jeanne-d’Arc cinema is participating in the Cinéloustics festival this year, which is a cinema event for children. Starting on February 14th and running until March 1st, it’s a great opportunity for kids to experience the magic of cinema. As part of the festival, the Gourin cinema is offering between one and three screenings every day. About ten films are being shown during 37 sessions, with a fixed price of 4.50 euros per screening. Some short programs are intended for young children aged 3 and up, while others, longer ones, are for children aged 6 or 8 and above. Many of these films are animated films,” explains Mélanie Droual, an employee at the cinema.

Films for all ages

“Throughout the year, we select and schedule films that are suitable for children in order to offer them quality choices, whether it be for students from kindergarten to high school, or for non-school groups, leisure centers, youth clubs, groups of friends… This Cinéloustics festival is another opportunity for us to promote our ‘Young audience’ label, one of the five labels that our Art et Essai classified cinema holds,” Mélanie Droual continues.

On the program

The films being shown include “Tafiti,” “Legendary,” “Marsupilami,” “Arco,” “Great Escape,” “Children’s Resistance,” “Little Creatures 2,” “Biscuit the Dog,” “Zootopia 2,” and “Goat-fly even higher.”
