The television world is preparing to bid her a final farewell, on Friday, April 10th, at 11am, at the Sainte-Réparate Cathedral in Nice. The ceremony has already sparked much discussion, especially regarding the potential presence of her daughter Mindy. It is worth noting that Loana did not raise her daughter, as she was placed in foster care (DDASS) since birth. Over the years, the relationship between mother and daughter remained strained, despite Loana’s efforts.
According to Gilles Verdez, it is unlikely that Mindy will attend her mother’s funeral. “There is a very delicate situation that has not been resolved yet, that of Mindy. So far, she has not reached out to anyone, not even to Loana’s close circle,” he explained on April 7th.
Cyril Hanouna also clarified that he will not be able to attend Loana’s funeral due to his busy schedule. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go because it’s on Friday at 11 am, I have my radio show on Fun Radio, plus an evening program. It will be difficult for me,” he said. Despite not physically attending, Hanouna plans to show his support to Loana’s family.
Another complicated situation revolves around Fred Cauvin, Loana’s ex-partner who she accused of domestic violence. Cauvin expressed his intention to attend the funeral, stating that he had spent a significant amount of time with Loana. However, Eryl Prayer, Loana’s friend, made it clear that Cauvin is not welcome at the ceremony. Tensions are expected to run high during the funeral.
