For fifteen years, Natasha Archer lived and worked in the shadow of Prince William and Kate Middleton, serving as their main personal assistant since 2010. She first worked for the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, then for William and Harry, before exclusively assisting William and Kate from the announcement of their engagement. Is this really a dream job? She left this position in the summer of 2025 to embark on a new professional adventure: she actually founded her own luxury consulting company.

In an interview with the Telegraph, 44-year-old Natasha Archer looked back on her journey with the royal couple, being by their side at every important stage of their lives, for better (weddings and births) and worse (Covid-19 pandemic and cancer). She was described as an exceptional collaborator and was often seen in the background during official trips and significant public appearances.

Behind the scenes, Natasha managed William and Kate’s schedules and projects, also serving as a counselor and confidante. However, the public mainly knows her as the unofficial stylist of the Duchess of Cambridge, a role she finds somewhat frustrating to be limited to!

Natasha Archer has fond memories of her “Welsh years”. She shared with the Telegraph, “My role encompassed many other things, much like what I offer today with my consulting business. I am not a traditional stylist; I have a holistic vision that extends to administrative support. I believe it is a unique skill that I can offer to certain individuals.”

She keeps quiet about her relationship with William and Kate, even though it’s known she was very close to the latter. Discretion is key in her field (and that’s how she built an excellent reputation), so Natasha Archer didn’t share much about her former employers. Nevertheless, she did tell the Telegraph that working with the Cambridges was “an extraordinary privilege and a precious memory. I forged wonderful friendships there, and I look back on that time with immense fondness. I am truly grateful for having had that opportunity.”
