The disappearance of Loana, which occurred on March 25, 2026 in Nice, has revived many memories linked to her extraordinary journey. From her meteoric rise after “Loft Story” to her more complicated years, her story deeply marked the French media landscape. Among the symbols of this contrasting trajectory, her real estate assets alone tell the story of this shift. As reported by Gala, the former reality TV star had managed to acquire an apartment in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the capital, before having to part ways with it a few years later.

After “Loft Story,” Loana treated herself to a 90m² apartment in Paris. At the beginning of the 2000s, Loana’s life took a turn after her victory. In a few weeks, she became one of the most famous faces on television, propelled to the status of a reality TV star. As a result, she won 1.5 million francs, equivalent to over 336,000 euros today, which she swiftly invested in real estate. This led her to acquire a 90m² apartment in the Trocadéro neighborhood, in the upscale 16th arrondissement of Paris. In this place, she led a relatively peaceful life, away from the media frenzy. She enjoyed cooking and creating a cozy space for herself. As reported by AD Magazine, she said: “I have a 500-liter aquarium and a 200-liter one, it’s my TV for me.” This apartment embodied her success, symbolizing a newfound stability after a sudden and intense fame.

But this stability didn’t last. Over the years, personal and financial difficulties weakened Loana’s situation. Despite the opportunity to sell her property for double its purchase price, around 800,000 euros, the substantial sum did not secure her future. A significant portion, nearly 100,000 euros, was directly deducted by the tax authorities. The rest quickly vanished, as the former reality TV star reportedly spent lavishly, including on trips for her loved ones. At the same time, her former partner allegedly used her credit card without her knowledge, making numerous payments. Gradually, the money from the sale of her apartment disappeared, almost entirely. In the final years of her life, Loana had settled in Nice, her hometown. After being hosted by her mother, she lived in a two-room apartment where the rent was covered by the producer Alexia Laroche-Joubert. This stark contrast alone speaks volumes about the flip side of her fame.
