On Thursday, March 20, the students of the Cinema and Audiovisual option at Germaine Tillion high school presented their 8th edition of the CLAP session: Audiovisual Programming Classes, in collaboration with Vincent Choquet and Denys Clabaut from Véo Cinémas. The first and final year students debated and chose a film they wanted to show to the public, and their choice was “La Petite Dernière” (Hafsia Herzi, 2025), which won awards at Cannes and the Césars. The second year students then selected a short film that they believed complemented the main feature, the surprising “Mais pourquoi as-tu laissé le cheval à sa solitude?” (Faouzi Bensaïdi, 2023).
With over 40 spectators, this session confirms the success of this program, which is less than 3 years old, offering a programming that is both demanding and popular. The magic of cinema with this intense film allowed everyone to escape reality. It didn’t leave anyone indifferent and fits perfectly with the annual theme of the option: encounters. The next CLAP session will be on Friday, May 29 in the evening, with a public and free screening of the year’s projects just before. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
