Invited to the set of “On a du nouveau,” Stéphane Rotenberg opened up about off-camera connections in Pekin Express and his daughter Emma’s career as a recognized stylist, embraced by international stars. While the Rowen Rose brand captivates even Beyoncé, the host of Pekin Express humorously and proudly discusses this family success, while sharing some insights into their respective worlds.
A family success story in fashion
Present on television with several successful shows, Stéphane Rotenberg is not the only talent in his family. His 29-year-old daughter Emma is now establishing herself as an essential stylist. Passionate since childhood, she first started as a model before fully dedicating herself to creation. Based in Milan, she founded her brand Rowen Rose in 2018. Quickly, her world attracts attention. During her appearance on the show, the host frankly specifies that she doesn’t dress him, simply responding: “No!” However, behind this response, one can sense a real admiration for his daughter’s impressive journey.
The success of Rowen Rose notably grew after its presentation at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week in June 2025. Since then, several celebrities have embraced her creations. The likes of Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, and Doja Cat are among her clients. Yet, it was Beyoncé’s notable appearance at the Super Bowl wearing several coats from the Fall/Winter 2026 collection that marked a turning point. Facing these images, Stéphane Rotenberg jokes: “I’m not sure if it’s entirely relevant for Top Chef, maybe for Pekin!” before adding with humor: “She’s doing much better than Beyoncé!”
A modern vision of fashion and a promising future
Emma Rotenberg does not simply follow trends; she offers a bold and contemporary vision of fashion. Her father describes her as “extraordinarily talented” and emphasizes the originality of her approach. She creates unisex outfits, blurring the boundaries between women’s and men’s wardrobes. This approach is part of a broader reflection on aesthetic codes. The designer herself explains appreciating “aesthetic paradoxes and contradictions.” Thus, she claims a blend of cultural influences, between Spanish heritage and Polish rigor, that nurtures her artistic identity and gives her collections a unique signature. Despite the success of Rowen Rose, it seems like only the beginning. Asked about the brand’s future, Stéphane Rotenberg keeps mystery alive while piquing curiosity. “There are definitely some confidentialities, but some very big names are coming,” he confides. This announcement hints at new prestigious collaborations. Despite this success, the host maintains a playful distance from this world. He concludes self-deprecatingly: “Beyoncé’s coat, I still don’t feel it. But I’m not Beyoncé!” A simple way to remind that, even in the face of success, everyone stays in their place.
