On Friday, April 10th, the Ruthenian association is organizing a classical music concert for Easter. It will be the first of their five events for the year.

For this first event, the Affetti nostri association, founded in 2013 by former residents of the Aveyron Conservatory, will be performing at the Royal Chapel on Place Foch.

The classical music concert will take place on Friday, April 10th, starting at 8:30 pm, and will focus on the theme of Easter. Chantal Renoult, the association’s president, explains that the concert will feature “Stabat Mater” compositions by renowned musicians such as Pergolesi and Dvorak.

The program will include the interpretation of “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Théodore Dubois and scenes from church operas like Tosca, Trovatore, Faust, and Cavaliera rusticana. The performances will involve musicians playing piano, cello, violin, double bass, and organ, as well as the Voces collium choir from Toulouse led by Simon Siaud, soprano Fifaliana Miakajato, and the special guest tenor Claude Minich from the National Chorus of the Capitole.

Tickets can be purchased on the Affetti nostri HelloAsso page. The prices are 15 euros for advance reservations, 8 euros for children under 12, and 18 euros for adult tickets bought on the night of the concert.
