Discussions around former ENHYPEN member Heeseung’s solo project are gaining momentum. A short video from a recent fan call has sparked questions, as he seemed hesitant while talking about his future album.
Heeseung, who officially left ENHYPEN in March 2026 but continues some scheduled activities, remains engaged with his fans. During a fan call on March 30, 2026, a particular moment stood out.
Asked about the new aspects related to the concept of his solo album, he replied with hesitation: “I don’t really know… um… what will be new for you. I’m trying, I’m doing my best.” This vague response quickly spread online.
A few days earlier, on March 22, during another fan call on Yizhiy, Heeseung had stated that a solo album was in the works and would be coming out soon. No further details were shared at that time.
The release of this excerpt has sparked numerous reactions on social media. Some internet users have expressed doubts about the actual preparation of the project, pointing out the lack of clarity in his statements.
Among the comments shared online:
– “It seems like none of this was even prepared. Does this album really exist? Or was he separated from the group without explanation? Maybe, maybe, maybe.” – “Are you telling me that the person who has had a mixtape ready for two years and was signed as a soloist under the same agency doesn’t know the concept of his album? And that was his choice? Okay…” – “This agency makes no sense. His solo should have been more lively, but Belift didn’t allow him to stay in ENHYPEN, and now it’s like this. I hate Belift. We should have seen the ENHYPEN members talk about their hyung’s solo in En-o’clock.” – “It’s so strange. When talking about his solo, he looks down and avoids eye contact. He doesn’t smile, he’s not enthusiastic, it doesn’t seem like he wants to talk about it.”
This controversy arises in a delicate context. BELIFT LAB confirmed on March 10, 2026, that Heeseung would no longer be part of ENHYPEN. The group now continues its activities as a six-member formation, while the artist transitions to a solo career.
Subsequently, his profile was removed from the group’s Weverse page, and he now appears as a solo artist on HYBE’s official platforms. Despite these changes, some fans continue to question this decision and demand further explanations.
On ENHYPEN’s side, they announced a world tour titled ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR “BLOOD SAGA.” It is set to kick off in Seoul in May 2026, with several concerts at the KSPO Dome, also streamed online.
The tour will then continue to South America, North America, Asia, and Europe, with dates planned until 2027. More stages are expected to be revealed soon.
In your opinion, do these reactions reflect genuine concern or a simple interpretation by fans due to a lack of information?
