Since his arrival in the Star Academy, Jonathan Jenvrin has quickly become one of the most prominent teachers of the season. Succeeding established figures, he has managed to find his place thanks to boundless energy and a high level of demand. His ambitious choreographies and attention to detail have impressed both students and viewers. Highly invested, he never hesitated to push the academy members to get the best out of them. This commitment extended beyond the show, as he took the reins of the artistic direction of the tour, confirming his central role in this new generation of the program.

What about Jonathan Jenvrin’s love life?

But when it comes to talking about feelings, the dancer’s tone completely changes. As a guest on Gossip Room on Sunday, March 29, 2026, he showed a lucid awareness of his current situation, explaining that he has always found it difficult to balance his professional and love life. “There are so many factors at play, it has always been complicated for me,” he admits. According to him, the issue may not necessarily stem from him, but from the lifestyle he leads: “It’s not necessarily me, it’s more difficult for the other person to have someone who’s not there, who doesn’t have time, who doesn’t respond.” Currently single, he prefers not to rush things and fully embrace this period of his life. With a touch of self-deprecation, he adds: “Because, right now, there aren’t too many.” And when asked about his most beautiful love story, he surprises by simply replying: “Honestly, it may sound very cheesy, but my most beautiful love story is dancing,” as if it were obvious to him who lives life to the fullest.

He makes rare confessions about his mother

Behind this passion and discipline lies a very strong personal story, especially related to his mother, whom he mentions with great emotion. Affected by polio since childhood, she has never been able to walk, but has always shown incredible strength. “My mother has always been my light, my reason for living. She made me so strong because she hasn’t walked since the age of 5! She met my father in a wheelchair, she had me in a wheelchair, and she never complained,” he shares. This resilience deeply marked the choreographer, to the point of becoming a life model: “She has always been a fighter, so for me, she has always been the best example.” Even today, he draws an essential lesson from this journey: “When you see a woman like that who manages to have children, a husband, who never complains, you put things into perspective.” This is his way of staying grounded, despite his success.
