The dual filter design significantly reduces respiratory resistance, improves air circulation, and allows users to work longer in contaminated environments.
Lieutenant Le The Quang, deputy technical director of X61 factory and project leader, presented the product in more detail: “The visor of the MV-5M has been completely redesigned ergonomically. Chin area has been widened by 2.5 cm for better protection, ensuring perfect coordination with skin protection equipment and preventing any risk of neck exposure. Contact pads have been redesigned with a peripheral rim, improving sealing and comfort. The device also includes additional attachment points for a water dispenser and lid, meeting the requirements of extended combat operations. In addition, the next-generation filter cartridge has been optimized: more compact, lighter (less than 250g), and offering improved respiratory resistance (less than 15mmHg), ensuring soldiers’ comfort while providing optimal filtration.”
