For the 9th consecutive year, master marketing students at UHA Business School will be organizing a day dedicated to franchising. This year, innovation will be at the heart of the conferences and debates that will animate the afternoon of Monday, March 30, at the Espace Auguste/Le Cref in Colmar. The Franchise Day is open to everyone, including students, local authorities, experts, franchisors, and franchisees.

“Innovation is part of the DNA of franchising. For a new franchise to be created, it must necessarily offer an innovation and be identifiable. This can be an innovation in terms of product, service, layout, etc.,” explains Saloua Bennaghmouch-Maire, director of UHA Business School and head of the franchise and network companies engineering master’s program (MIFER). “But in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence that is shaking up the norms, it is useful to question franchise actors and experts.”

Conferences and Roundtables

These questions will be discussed in two roundtable discussions led by numerous participants, professionals, and franchise concept experts. Among them, Dr. Gérald Cohen, lecturer at universities and co-founder of the Mulhouse KM², and Véronique Discours-Buhot, general delegate of the French Franchise Federation, will host conferences on the theme of innovation in franchised networks. At 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm, two roundtable discussions will bring together several speakers.

Among them, Olivier Deleau, founder of the “Les Experviseurs” independent network, Corinne Duplat, general manager of the “Les menus services” network, and franchisees: Eneo Brocheray from Transakauto, Yannick Meyer from Remax Immo, Aurélia Millet, multi-franchisee of Feuillette. Legal and financial experts, lawyers, accountants, and Olivier Mermouys, president of the French Franchise Federation, will also have a voice.

Franchise Day, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Espace Auguste/Le Cref, free admission.
