“We will be in Torx to start rehearsing our next musical show, “Immortels,” a direct reference to a song by Alain Bashung,” reveals Paul Francesconi. The text, currently being written, is inspired by myths of immortality and the relationship between humans and rivers and marshes. Its story is set in a hamlet that could be located in Charente-Maritime. In this creation, two actor-singers are on stage.
“We would like a chorus of amateur residents (1) to participate in our show, to play the inhabitants of the hamlet in the story. For this, we need to meet volunteers, the curious. Volunteers who love theater. Or volunteers who love to sing. Both are welcome and will each have a place,” continues the theater man.
For the upcoming season During two days, Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, the company Soleil glacé will present its universe and its new show. “We will read excerpts from the text being written, then move on to practice, to sing or play for those who wish. Finally, we will build several scenes with the main actress of the show and our musician.”
Those who are intrigued by the company’s approach can sign up to join this chorus that will perform during the performances of the show “Immortels” during the 2027-2028 season (2). (Note: 1. The chorus is open to all ages, starting from 16 years old (parental consent required).)
