On March 16, 2026, in California, crop science company Stimera, formerly known as BioAge, has appointed Lon E. Kreger as its new Chief Executive Officer as the company prepares to scale its molecular fertilizer platform globally.

Kreger will lead the company’s commercial expansion and strategic growth as Stimera transitions from product validation to broader market adoption. Founder Dr. Reuben R. Rampersad will continue as President, focusing on product development, formulation strategy, and innovation.

Stimera is developing patent-pending molecular foliar fertilizers designed to improve nutrient efficiency and plant metabolism. Its flagship product, Nitro-Gro, aims to alter the molecular structure of nutrient inputs to enable faster leaf absorption and improved nutrient transport within plants. According to company data, the technology has demonstrated potential to increase yields by around 30%, shorten crop cycles by up to two weeks, and deliver significant same-season return on investment for growers.

The company plans to expand through partnerships with agricultural retailers, distributors, and manufacturing partners worldwide. With nearly 20 products in development—around 30% nearing commercialization—Stimera aims to build a new category in crop nutrition through its molecular fertilizer platform.

Kreger said the company’s focus will be on delivering reliable, economically viable solutions that help growers improve productivity while strengthening the agricultural supply chain.
