Prof. Frank Rossi Ph.D. ’91, a respected leader in horticulture and turfgrass science, has spent nearly 30 years at Cornell University. His deep curiosity drives him to explore, research, and teach in the field. Starting his journey in horticulture at a young age, Rossi developed a passion for the natural world that eventually led him to pursue advanced degrees and a career in academia.

Now serving as the Richard C. Call Director of the Agricultural Sciences major at Cornell, Rossi plays a pivotal role in agricultural science education and research. Through his podcast “Frankly Speaking,” he shares insights on turfgrass science, sustainability, and the food industry, connecting with a wide audience of listeners.
