Dr Pham Van Tan, Director of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Transport Technology, emphasized the importance of finding key solutions to address the bottlenecks in human resources training. The industrialization, modernization, and international integration are providing opportunities for Vietnam, but also pose challenges due to the increasing demand for skilled human resources. Issues such as the lack of alignment between training and labor market needs, uneven training quality, and labor shortages in certain sectors are hindering progress.

Organizing this conference serves as an important academic forum for scientists, managers, experts, and business representatives to exchange, discuss, and share experiences on the conference theme. With an objective, scientific, and open approach, it is believed that the conference will help find solutions to current challenges, address political bottlenecks, propose feasible training and human resources supply solutions, and contribute to guiding the country towards a new era of prosperity and well-being.

Professor Ho Si Quy, former Director of the Institute of Information of the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences, praised the conference topic as practical and relevant. Emphasizing the importance of focusing on human resources, particularly in the digital sector, to support ambitious socioeconomic goals. Enhancing the quality of digital workforce through training programs and policies is crucial to meet the demands of the evolving job market.

The national congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam emphasized the significance of human resource development in the new growth model, aligning with technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It is considered a strategic priority and imperative for overall political development in the country.

In the context of digital transformation in education in Vietnam, addressing cybersecurity challenges is crucial due to the rapid expansion of online education. Measures such as conducting regular cybersecurity exercises 4 to 6 times per year are recommended to enhance response capabilities and minimize risks in the face of increasing threats.

The shift towards an economy based on knowledge and international integration requires close collaboration between state, education, and businesses. Creating specialized departments for business cooperation within educational institutions, strengthening the role of businesses in human resource development, and improving governance and flexibility in academic programs are essential steps to align education with industry needs.

These efforts aim to overcome current limitations in the Vietnamese job market by establishing a unified information system, promoting data sharing between sectors, and encouraging participation from both government and private entities. Enhancing collaboration and streamlining information flow will contribute to the development of a skilled workforce suited for the modern era.
