Everpure has announced the validation of its FlashArray//C storage array for the Nutanix Cloud Platform, offering an economical all-flash solution for secondary workloads.
Specializing in data storage, Everpure officially announced on March 30, 2026, a significant milestone in its collaboration with Nutanix. Its FlashArray//C NVMe all-flash storage array optimized for capacity is now validated as an external storage solution for the Nutanix Cloud Platform. This new compatibility allows businesses to access high-density 100% flash capacity for their secondary workloads, such as development and test environments or virtual machine backups, at a cost previously reserved for disk or hybrid solutions.
Replacing disk with flash at a comparable cost
The main challenge for many organizations is the cost associated with migrating their secondary data to faster but historically expensive flash storage solutions. According to Everpure, the FlashArray//C directly addresses this issue. By using high-density QLC (Quad-Level Cell) flash memory, this array offers nearline performance and efficiency, allowing businesses to transition large workloads traditionally stored on disk to a fully flash platform at a comparable cost to hybrid solutions. This transition also benefits from the simplicity of Everpure’s ecosystem and the Evergreen Storage lifecycle, which ensures hardware and software upgrades without data migration.
A unified ecosystem and flexible consumption
The validation of FlashArray//C for the Nutanix environment opens up precise use cases. The solution is particularly suited for Tier 2 virtualized applications and non-production environments that require high storage density and reduced cost per terabyte. It is also highly effective for copy, clone, and snapshot-based update operations.
One of the major advantages of this integration is the platform’s uniformity. The FlashArray//C shares the same operating system, Purity, as other FlashArray ranges (//X and //XL), ensuring complete compatibility for data replication between different arrays and seamless integration with Pure Fusion, Everpure’s storage management platform. In terms of flexibility, the FlashArray//C is available in various capacity models, up to 4.2 petabytes raw, and can be acquired through an OPEX subscription model with the Evergreen//One offering.
Enhanced strategic collaboration
This announcement is part of a broader and strengthened partnership between the two technology companies. Everpure recently communicated on the general availability of its integrated solution combining the Nutanix Cloud Platform with its FlashArray//X and FlashArray//XL storage arrays, designed for the most critical workloads. The validation of FlashArray//C complements this offering by addressing a different market segment, focusing on less critical but equally strategic data for daily business operations.
Additional technical information on the validation of FlashArray//C is available in a dedicated blog article. Another article details the integrated solution with other FlashArray ranges.
Everpure (NYSE: PSTG) is positioned as a key player helping organizations manage and leverage their data, particularly in the era of artificial intelligence, by simplifying infrastructure while optimizing performance and energy consumption.
