Visit from Polish Delegation at UFR MIM

Reading Time: 2 minutes

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the UFR MIM welcomed a delegation from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, accompanied by Aurore Mac-Intosch from the DRIE – International Mobility of Nancy.

The delegation exchanged with the UFR MIM teams on training programs, educational tools, and student support mechanisms. The delegation included:

  • Grażyna Maszniew, Director of the Study Services Center,
  • Sabina Gorczyca-Kamaj, Head of the Admissions Office,
  • Bogumiła Patejukt, University Coordinator for teaching assignments and responsible for recruiting international students.

After an exchange of welcome gifts, a presentation of the UFR MIM was conducted, followed by questions about the diversity of international students, their level of French, their success rate, and their post-DU careers. The visitors also expressed interest in the master’s programs, particularly MMSP and BioCad, while emphasizing the need to increase English-language courses.

The delegation then presented the Silesian University of Technology, before discussing the digital tools used for teaching and student monitoring (ENT, Apogée, ADE). Recruitment platforms like ParcourSup, CampusFrance, ecandidat, and monMaster were also addressed.

The visit continued with a tour of the UFR MIM facilities, including lecture halls, the cafeteria, examination rooms, and practical work spaces. The guests particularly enjoyed the LISA student association room.

This meeting explored new collaboration opportunities between our institutions, especially in terms of international mobility and educational innovation.
