On March 29, 2026, “Sunday Politics,” the political magazine of France 3, welcomes Jérôme Guedj, deputy of the Socialist Party of Essonne, and Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs. They are interviewed by Francis Letellier with a “carte blanche” to Laurence Peuron, political journalist at France Inter.

Every Sunday, Francis Letellier offers 45 minutes with two political personalities to explore their ideas and take the time for contradiction. Political news is also discussed through reports and interviews, with a “carte blanche” from journalists specialized in French political life.

On the set, two guests answer Francis Letellier’s questions successively.

The risks of the conflict spreading in the Middle East, the rise in oil prices, and their economic repercussions fuel French concerns. One question remains: how long can this international crisis last?

While political parties continue to draw lessons from the municipal elections, the 2027 presidential election is already on the agenda and in everyone’s ambitions. Within the Socialist Party, divisions continue to be openly displayed.

In the central block, each party, Renaissance, Horizons, or MoDem, wants to be the balancing point to present its candidate in the presidential election. There is little time left to come to an agreement.
