On March 22nd, the municipal council met and re-elected Jérôme Soursac as mayor. The four deputies were also appointed, and the municipal commissions were installed: first deputy, Sylvia Pinel; second deputy, Hervé Coupellier; third deputy, Gaëlle Lafargue; fourth deputy, Stéphane Grailhe. Jérôme Soursac thanked the citizens for voting in large numbers and trusting his list, stating that it was an honor and a strong commitment to act for and with them. He emphasized the importance of actions for children and youth, maintaining the Fabas-Canals RPI, installing a youth council, building a city stadium to promote sports and youth gatherings in a safe and suitable place, maintaining close ties with families, organizing events to strengthen social cohesion, road safety, preserving the environment, supporting associations, and more. The program was reviewed again, with a clear objective: “Preserve our quality of life, strengthen cohesion, and cultivate a peaceful atmosphere.”
