“Carbonne autrement” citizen list officially submits candidacy

The citizen list “Carbonne autrement” has officially submitted its candidacy to the sub-prefecture of Muret, in early February.

Composed of 31 dedicated women and men, this non-politically aligned list carries an ambitious and participatory project for the city of Carbonne and its residents.

Led by Stéphane Le Brun and Marine Ducros, “Carbonne autrement” stands out with a new approach defined by a model of collective governance. One of the pillars of this organization is based on the existence of dual and triple mandates within the municipal council. This method ensures an impartial perspective and complementarity of ideas, a transversality between subjects for a smoother and more effective management of local affairs.

This list places central importance on participative democracy and program monitoring throughout the mandate. A specific deputy position is dedicated to this essential aspect. Sonia Burgues and Nicolas Hallali will carry forward this ambitious project. Among the proposed initiatives are the creation of citizen commissions, the introduction of participative budgets, and the development of ideas and initiatives directly led by residents.

This project also stands out for a rigorous and responsible approach to public finances, ensuring the sustainability of projects without sacrificing the budgetary stability of the municipality.

With this citizen list, “Carbonne autrement” emphasizes transparency, responsibility, and the involvement of residents.

Next public meeting on Monday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bois de Castres complex.
