Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a stern warning to neighboring countries, urging them not to allow Tehran’s enemies to conduct war operations from their territories. “We have said many times that Iran doesn’t carry out preemptive attacks, but we will retaliate strongly if our infrastructure or economic centers are targeted,” he stated on Saturday.

Pezeshkian’s statement is the latest in a series of calls from Iran for neighboring nations to refrain from using their territory to launch attacks against Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also recently encouraged countries around Iran to distance themselves from the United States.

The conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran began on February 28 with air strikes across Iran, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The war continues to escalate, with Israel carrying out intense daily strikes on Iran and Iran targeting its adversaries and countries hosting US military assets in the Middle East.

Recent attacks include drone strikes in Kuwait that damaged the airport’s radar system, strikes in Abu Dhabi that injured six people and caused damage near the Khalifa Economic Zone, and drone attacks in Oman’s port of Salalah that injured one person and damaged a crane.

Iran also claimed to have targeted a Ukrainian anti-drone system depot in Dubai, which it alleges supported US forces. The conflict further escalated with an attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, where at least 15 American soldiers were wounded.

Despite the escalating tensions and conflicts, no casualties were reported in the recent attacks. As the situation in the region remains volatile, concerns about the safety and security of the countries involved continue to rise.
