Millions of Americans are expected to participate in the No Kings protests against the Trump administration on Saturday. Over 3,000 events are scheduled in all 50 states and 16 countries, organized by groups such as Indivisible and 50501. Organizers anticipate this to be the largest protest in American history, with the last protest in October drawing 7 million people nationwide.

In Minnesota’s Twin Cities, tens of thousands gathered to protest against the Trump administration, with notable figures like Bruce Springsteen performing. Various cities across the United States and the world also saw protests, with demonstrators advocating for issues such as immigrant and trans rights, labor rights, and anti-war sentiments.

The No Kings coalition has stressed the peaceful nature of the protests, emphasizing the importance of non-violence. The White House and Republican leaders criticized the events, labeling them as “Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions”. The administration has also targeted anti-ICE protesters, leading to concerns about potential risks for marginalized participants.

Organizers have highlighted that the No Kings Day is part of broader efforts to resist the Trump administration and build grassroots movements. They emphasize the need for continued activism beyond March 28th.
