The Ondo State Government has praised the brave operatives of the State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, and other security agencies for their courage and professionalism in rescuing kidnapped victims in Akure South Local Government Area.
The government specifically commended the leadership of the Amotekun Corps, led by Corps Commander Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, for their well-coordinated overnight operations that resulted in the rescue of five victims in separate incidents at Oke Ijebu and along the Oda-Akure axis.
It also acknowledged the teamwork and cooperation among the various security agencies, stating that their combined efforts were crucial to the success of the rescue missions.
Reiterating its commitment to protecting lives and property, the government assured residents that it will enhance security measures across the state.
Residents were urged to assist security agencies by providing credible and timely information, emphasizing that collective responsibility is key to maintaining peace and security in Ondo State.
