Clothes For Joes announced Friday that it has launched a capital campaign to fund a new Veterans Service Center in downtown Fort Wayne.
According to the organization, the $250,000 campaign will allow the purchase and renovation of a new facility to expand services to meet the growing needs of veterans and their spouses in Allen County.
Leaders say this new center will offer a year-round, central location for Clothes For Joes and partner organizations to help more veterans than ever.
“We are deeply grateful to the partners who make this possible. The generous support of our lead sponsor, 469 Cycle Shop, and Gerardot Realty reflects a strong commitment to veterans in our community. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Rathburn Precision Machining in Auburn for their extraordinary donation of a 1949 Ford Custom convertible, which will be auctioned this fall at Kruse Auction to benefit this campaign.”
Anyone interested in learning more or volunteering can contact Clothes For Joes at info@clothesforjoes.org or follow them on Facebook. Visit the Veterans Service Center to donate to the campaign.
