Motorcyclist flown to hospital after crash with car in Fairfield Township

A motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital after a crash with a car in Fairfield Township on Wednesday evening.Fairfield Township Police said the crash happened around 5:35 p.m., on State Route 4 at Walden Ponds Circle.Police said the motorcycle was going northbound on State Route 4 when a car pulled out from Walden Ponds Circle. The motorcycle hit the driver's side of the car.Police said the motorcycle, identified only as a man, had serious injuries and was transported by AirCare to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.The driver and a passenger in the car were not seriously hurt.Investigators said the motorcyclist wasn't wearing a helmet. The Fairfield Township Police Department and members of the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene.The crash remains under investigation.
