The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Vero Beach Police Department at an incident near Ocean Drive in Vero Beach.

WPBF 25 News has learned that the law enforcement presence is at South Beach Park, located at 1702 Ocean Drive in Vero Beach.

The law enforcement response is connected to the double homicide of two Indian River County employees at the parking lot of the Indian River County library on 21st Street on Tuesday morning.

A suspect vehicle tied to the shooting was located at the park, but the suspect has not been apprehended yet.
