Megan Thee Stallion was taken to the hospital after falling ill during her performance in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” on Broadway. She later shared on social media that she had been overexerting herself. An understudy filled in for her on Tuesday night, allowing the show to go on. Megan decided to skip Wednesday’s shows to recuperate, but plans to return on Thursday feeling much better. Last week, Megan made her Broadway debut playing Harold Zidler in the musical, which is scheduled to close in July after a seven-year run.
