The Florida Panthers are gearing up for a crucial four-game road trip after suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Sabres. With 63 points, the Panthers are currently eight points behind the Boston Bruins for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Matthew Tkachuk, who recently represented the United States at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan, has been a key player for the Panthers this season, tallying 10 points in 12 games. Meanwhile, Sam Reinhart leads the team with 56 points and is tied with Brad Marchand for the team lead in goals.

Anton Lundell has also been a standout player for Florida, contributing six points in four games this month. However, Uvis Balinskis is currently day-to-day after exiting Friday’s game with an injury.

Seth Jones has been sidelined with an upper-body injury since January but has been a key player for the Panthers on defense. Florida is known for being one of the most physical teams in the NHL, ranking second in hits this season.

Despite their physical play, the Panthers have a solid penalty kill, ranking seventh in the NHL this year. However, their penalty kill percentage has dropped to 12th in February.
