At the IUT Thionville-Yutz, the Nano Arts and Culture Festival “Nano but strong!” will take place on April 8, 2026 for an afternoon focused on creation, curiosity, and sharing.

Designed as a highlight of the Arts and Culture Days in Higher Education, the festival offers students an immersion in artistic practice through a series of two-hour participatory workshops. Dance, slam, photography, writing, DJing, cyanotype, ceramics, painting, engraving, music criticism, scrapbooking, and piano: numerous opportunities to experiment, dare, and discover new forms of expression.

Guided by staff from IUT Thionville-Yutz, artists, and cultural partners from the region, these workshops provide a space accessible to all, whether beginners or already passionate. The goal is simple: to allow testing, creating, and sharing in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.

Each workshop will result in a presentation at an open nano-vernissage to the community, a festive moment to showcase the creations and celebrate collective energy. The presentation will be accompanied by a piano performance in the Agora and short spoken word pieces in rhythmic formats.

Beyond artistic discovery, the festival helps strengthen bonds, encourage creativity, and bring the campus to life in a different way, by opening a space where ideas flow freely and everyone can find their place.
