After causing a road accident while “under the influence” on March 27, Tiger Woods was reportedly sternly warned by his partner of just over a year, Vanessa Trump, who gave him an ultimatum, reports the Daily Mail.

An arrest that certainly did not please Vanessa Trump. On Friday, March 27, golfer Tiger Woods was detained in a “lethargic” state with bloodshot eyes in Florida, after being involved in a car accident. Finally released eight hours after the accident, the internationally renowned player had just made his return to golf, after a year away from the courses due to injuries.

Although his alcohol test came back negative, the professional golfer reportedly refused to undergo a urine analysis that could detect drugs and medications. According to authorities, Tiger Woods was under the influence of “drugs or another substance” at the time of the accident.

A situation that reportedly left his partner of just one year deeply angry, determined not to let anything slide, according to the Daily Mail. “She is not pleased at all,” said a source close to the couple to the British media. “She is both disappointed and a bit furious, to be honest.” Despite their solid relationship, Woods’ 48-year-old partner apparently gave him an ultimatum. “He must regain control, otherwise she will not stay,” she continued, stating that Vanessa Trump is a “worried girlfriend who expresses her limits and says he must pull himself together, as of now.”

The 50-year-old golfer is said to be “very sorry” and “wants to correct” his mistakes. “He is embarrassed, he is mortified by all of this,” said the source. “And it is really humiliating that this is happening again. And Vanessa is embarrassed too.” This is not the first time that Tiger Woods has been involved in a car accident. In February 2021, he was seriously injured in a solo accident, requiring hospitalization and surgery. In May 2017, he was already detained for “reckless driving” after falling asleep at the wheel. Finally, in November 2009, the golfer had an accident crashing into a fire hydrant and a tree near his home in Florida. These incidents have reportedly prompted his partner to take drastic measures.
