The Israeli army threatened on Saturday to launch strikes against all components of the Iranian defense industry as part of its ongoing offensive, now entering its second month.
In a statement, army spokesperson Effie Defrin claimed that Israel had intensified the damage inflicted on the Iranian military industry over the weekend.
“In the coming days, we will complete the attack on all the fundamental and vital elements of the Iranian defense industry,” said Effie Defrin, stating that the goal is to destroy a large part of Iran’s military production capacity.
Additionally, it was reported that Israeli forces targeted two large factories in Iran on Friday producing aerospace equipment, as well as a facility related to uranium.
Hostilities in the region have escalated since the joint offensive by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, resulting in more than 1,340 deaths, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In response, Tehran has launched several waves of drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting American military installations, causing human casualties and material damage, disrupting global markets and air traffic.
