Around fifty members participated in the general meeting of the home, chaired by Christiane Fresquet and her team. “It is with great pleasure that I welcome you as numerous and faithful as ever”, she declared at the opening. She recalled that nearly 90 members have participated in the various activities offered since September.
Meals at the Olive Grove, Christmas aperitif, January wishes, Candlemas or lunch at Bram punctuated the season. So many meetings which constitute the DNA of the association. Only the annual outing could not be organized due to lack of registrants. A reflection will be carried out to next year. The heads of the walking, painting, tarot, IT, video and theater sections then took stock with humor. Robert Castex notably arranged to meet in November for the painting exhibition in the Georges-Brassens room.
Present on behalf of the municipality, Thierry Ormières greeted “the dynamism, the vitality and the atmosphere” who reign within the association, ensuring support from the municipality.
Before the friendly drink and the shared meal in the form of a Spanish inn, the theater workshop offered a preview of the show it was presenting on Thursday June 18 during a meeting of the Un temps pour tous association. The walkers will meet one last time on Tuesday June 30 for a picnic at Notre-Dame-du-Cros, in Caunes-Minervois.
