Henri De Colombel reflects on the projects carried out during his previous term, from the restoration of the castle to modernizing the roads and supporting local organizations.
The restoration of the castle was a major project, starting in 2014 and involving the acquisition of parcels from multiple owners. Two phases of restoration were completed in 2019 and 2021, making the area accessible to pedestrians. A new building was constructed to accommodate local associations, including one for young children. Additionally, the village roads and square were completely redone.
When asked about projects that did not succeed, Henri De Colombel cited financial constraints as the main reason for halting certain initiatives.
In evaluating the impact of his actions on residents’ daily lives, Henri De Colombel believes that their quality of life has improved, and their attachment to the village has strengthened. Efforts to enhance the living environment, such as the castle restoration and road repairs, were well-received despite initial reservations.
With these accomplishments as a foundation, Henri De Colombel plans to continue his commitment to the village by further enhancing heritage, fostering social connections, and improving the overall living environment for all residents.
