This Monday, June 15, as part of the creation of the Place of Art and Culture (LAC) of Haie Griselle in Gérardmer, an artistic event was offered to the 6th grade classes of the college as well as to the CM2 students in the recruitment sector.
Places of Art and Culture are spaces set up within educational establishments and intended to host exhibitions and cultural events (artistic, stage but also scientific, etc.). These spaces are intended to encourage public confrontation with works questioning issues of artistic practice and contemporary creation, in the diversity of fields. This structure, currently being developed in Gérardmer, is supported by the school as well as by the Youth Service Space, based on the same site.
Thus, in the gymnasium of the school campus, the young audience present was able to attend the circus show “Et, voila” performed by the POT Là company. This company, based in Ain, offers an alternative to the traditional circus in a 45-minute performance where two characters, one in the orchestra and the other on the ring, present juggling acts, clown games and acrobatics.
To give continuity to this project, next school year, the future 6th and 5th graders of the college, as part of Alexandra Rudatis’ plastic arts classes, will participate and create a decor, a scenography and creations around the comic strip. Star, the little circus” by Rascal and Peter Elliott.
During this school year 2026 – 2027, other events (exhibitions of regional artists and contemporary works, dance workshops…) will be scheduled with the aim of welcoming a school and local audience.
