The objective of this morning is to allow children, but also adults, to discover the instruments taught within the harmony. Trumpet, trombone, percussion, drums, clarinet, saxophone or even flute can be tried on site. “We want to attract younger people, make them want to learn about music,” explains Sandrine Frechic, administrative director of music education.

Visitors will also be able to discover the premises, with the rehearsal room on the ground floor and the classrooms upstairs. This year, the music school has 43 students, plus several adults.

Graduation ceremony

Sunday, change of scenery with the graduation ceremony at Vénès Park. This meeting will salute the work carried out throughout the year by the students. “It’s a way of congratulating them for their investment,” emphasizes Sandrine Frechic. The ceremony will be accompanied by music and singing, in particular with a temporary choir of adults, who will sing with the children and the band musicians. After the graduation, the musicians must participate in the Music Festival, scheduled for around 7 p.m.
