A pedestrian city center to party
The Music Festival takes place on Saturday June 20, 2026 in Pontivy. With stages installed at Place du Martray and Place Leperdit, as well as the “Grande Table” of Pontivy Commerces – UCIAP rue Nationale, the city center will be closed to traffic and parking. Here is the information you need to know so you can travel and park with peace of mind this weekend.
Streets closed from Friday evening
From Friday June 19 at 7 p.m. to Sunday June 21 at 10 a.m., traffic and parking will be prohibited on the following streets:
- rue Nationale (from rue du Tribunal to rue du Général de Gaulle)
- rue du Général de Gaulle (between rue Nationale and rue Jean-Pierre Boullé)
- rue de Friedland (at the intersection of rue Nationale)
- rue Ange Gupin
- rue Frédéric de Lourmel (from rue Noble to rue Jean Leperdit)
- rue Noble
- rue Édouard Lorois
- rue du Théâtre
- rue Jean Leperdit (from place Leperdit to rue de l’Abbé Martin, the intersection of rue du Médecin-Général Robic remaining free)
- place Jean Leperdit
- place du Martray
- rue du Pont
- rue de l’Ancien Pont
- rue Émile Souvestre
- rue de l’Amiral Coudé
- rue du Fil
- rue du Parrot
- rue des Forges
- Place Anne de Bretagne (on the square)
Streets closed on Saturday
From Saturday June 20 at 9 a.m. to Sunday June 21 at 10 a.m., the following closures are added:
- rue du Tribunal (between rue de Rivoli and rue Nationale)
- rue Nationale (between avenue Napoléon 1er and rue du Tribunal)
- rue des Trois Frères Le Cornec (except local residents and services)
Diversions and local access
To bypass the closed zone on rue Nationale (between avenue Napoléon 1er and rue du Tribunal), the diversion will take place via rue François Mitterrand, or via avenue Napoléon 1er, rue Cainin, rue de Friedland, rue du Médecin-Gén©ral Robic, rue Léon Launay, rue Jean-Pierre Boullé then place Ruinet du Tailly.
To allow access to local residents, the direction of traffic will be reversed on rue de la Motte, on the part between rue Nationale and rue de l’Amiral Coudé.
Accès des secours préservé
Two access points reserved for emergency services and services will be maintained throughout the duration of the event:
- rue Nationale, at the corner of avenue Napoléon 1er
- rue du Médecin-Général Robic, à l’intersection de la rue Jean Leperdit
Please respect the signage in place and use car parks located on the outskirts of the city center to join the festivities.
