The Moulayrès cinema-garage will offer an evening dedicated to football on Tuesday June 16. From 7:45 p.m., the public will be able to attend the screening of the documentary “Fan de Cocorico”, filmed during the 2022 World Cup in Vanuatu. Directed by Fred Fontes and Marcel Melto, this 56-minute documentary dives into the heart of the passion for football in this Pacific archipelago. Synopsis: While the global competition is in full swing, the clamor from the stadiums resonates on the airwaves and screens of Vanuatu. Discussions come alive around the matches and the results. Mackenzie, father of two children, nourishes the hope of building a better future thanks to this sport, between training sessions with his club, family tasks, the nightly sale of kava and neighborhood conversations in Cocorico, near Port-Vila, his daily life is punctuated by this passion. The evening will continue with the live broadcast of the Blues’ first match in the competition, against Senegal. A Spanish inn and a friendly barbecue will be offered on site to extend this moment of sharing between sports fans and local residents.
