The school carnival, organized by the association Familles rurales Alrance-Villefranche-de-Panat, took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere on Thursday, despite unfavorable weather conditions.

Due to the wind and cold, the teachers and volunteers of the association decided to forgo the parade through the village streets to ensure the comfort and safety of the children. Students from the schools of Villefranche-de-Panat, La Besse, and Alrance gathered in the town hall to maintain the carnival spirit. Colorful costumes, festive music, and good cheer were all part of the festivities.

The group Brick & Drac, present to animate the event, contributed to the success of the day. In addition to their medieval music, the musicians offered a discovery of instruments from the past, sparking the curiosity of children and adding a playful and educational aspect to the celebration.

This necessary adaptation did not diminish the enthusiasm of the participants, and the festival took place in a joyful atmosphere, proving that even without a parade, the carnival remains a highlight of sharing and conviviality for the schools in the area. The association is pleased to have once again been able to count on the help of teachers, Atsem, AESH, parent chaperones, and residents who joined the children at the town hall to share this festive moment. The association invites everyone to join next year for another carnival.
