OLLIOULES: Culture – The first edition of Festi’Livres at the heart of a week of abundant activities

From June 6 to 14, Ollioules offers a dense cultural agenda, marked by the 1st edition of Festi’Livres and multiple events for everyone.

The town of Ollioules is preparing to experience a particularly lively week from Saturday June 6 to Sunday June 14, 2026. Between a new literary festival, shows, exhibitions and traditional events, the town offers a rich and varied program which will satisfy all audiences.

The book in the spotlight with the Festi’Livres

The flagship event of the week will undoubtedly be the first edition of the Festi’Livres d’Ollioules, which will be held on Saturday June 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Organized by the association Vivre avec légrét© in partnership with the municipality, this day promises to be a great family and intergenerational celebration. More than 50 authors will be present for signing sessions, divided between the Criée aux fleurs room for adult literature and the Pierre Puget space for the children’s section. The program also includes free workshops for young and old in the Bremond room, as well as two shows in the Mistral garden, at 10:45 a.m. for children and 3:30 p.m. for the general public. A catering area will be set up on Place Trotobas.

A rich program of shows and exhibitions

The Ollioule cultural scene will also be very active. The Châteauvallon Couvert Theater will host, from Monday June 8 to Saturday June 13, the galas of the city’s dance schools, with a performance each evening. Theater lovers will have several options: a comic play, « The crochet cÅ“urs »will be played on Sunday June 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Salle des Fêtes, while the company AMATA will present “The Triumph of Harlequin”a commedia dell’arte play, on Saturday June 13 at 8:30 p.m. on Place Victor Clément (free entry).

On the visual arts side, the Galerie de l’Olivier will inaugurate the exhibition “Image thickness” by photovisual artist Franck Goldbronn on Saturday June 6 at 6:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain on view until June 27. In addition, the Jean Moulin room will offer two cinema screenings on Thursday, June 11 in the evening.

Local traditions and outdoor activities

Traditional meetings will not be left out. The Provençal markets will bring life to Place Jean Jaurès on Saturday June 6 and 13 as well as Thursday June 11 in the morning. The local producers’ market will be held on route de la Gare on Monday June 8 and Friday June 12 at the end of the afternoon.

Sunday June 7 will be marked by the National Fishing Festival at the Trisse Rattes bridge. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Gardon association in Toulon and its surroundings will offer free introductions to trout fishing (equipment provided), a fishing simulator and activities for children. The same weekend, June 6 and 7, a large wardrobe sale will be held at the Mano X Alto center, and a garage sale will close the week on Sunday June 14 on the Route de la Gare.

Duty of memory and civic life

Finally, the week will be punctuated by a solemn moment. On Monday June 8 at 5:30 p.m., a ceremony will take place on the square in front of the Town Hall as part of the National Day of Tribute to the Dead for France in Indochina. To facilitate access, a free shuttle will be set up from the Orlandi 2 car park. Numerous general meetings of neighborhood associations are also planned, testifying to the dynamism of local life.
