The KNDS group, a Franco-German manufacturer of land defense systems, is seeing a rapid increase in its activities due to current geopolitical instability. Although the global context is marked by dramatic conflicts, the company positions itself as a pillar of European defense, seeking to strengthen the credibility of the continent’s armies. “We are here to build a credible European defense to avoid these conflicts“, explains Jean-Paul Alary, general director of KND. “We have an order book today at the end of 2025 of 33 billion euros, and that is a lot, compared to the 4.4 billion euros that we invoiced, delivered last year in turnover,” explains Jean-Paul Alary.
To respond to the massive increase in demand and honor its contracts, KNDS is launching a major recruitment campaign across all of its French and international sites. The company is looking for a wide variety of profiles: “All professions are concerned. These are logistics professions, welder professions, technician professions, engineer professions, finance and sales professions.“
This increase in power is accompanied by an optimization of production capacities: “We have multiplied the rates by five in a few years, and this is truly the result of the men and women of KNDS who achieved this feat. Today it takes around 15 months, that is to say half as much as a few years ago“, explains Jean-Paul Alary.
