“Live again” in the opening, just to say that “The Battle is never over”, until “On the road again” in the finale: Bobin judiciously wanders through the almost 60 years of Nanard’s repertoire. And favors its social vein. “Saint-Étienne” (1975), “Fensch vallée” (1976), “Fact divers” (1991), “State of the places” (2004), or of course “Les Mains” d’or” parade and we confirm with Bobin this evening that many of Lavilliers’ songs are still sadly relevant and that “dignity is not our specialty”.
Delicate or energetic guitar, warm and powerful voice, immediate complicity with the public: Bobin is a choice passer and we fall in love again with “Betty” or “La Grande Mar©e”, “Fortaleza” or “La Bandiera rossa». Lost causes on tropical music: that’s already it.
