The Total Festum celebrates Occitan culture at Parc du Rouret, in Saint-Christol-lez-Alès this Saturday, June 13. Animations, “balèti” and fire jumping will punctuate this 6th free edition, organized by the Calandreta de Gardons for young and old.
La Calandreta de Gardons Pèire Mazodier is organizing, Saturday June 13 from 2 p.m., the 6e edition of the Total Festum at Parc du Rouret, in Saint-Christol-lez-Alès. Completely free, this event will highlight Occitan language and culture through a festive day open to all.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., young and old can enjoy treasure hunts, wooden games, face painting, pony rides and circus workshops offered by Salto.
Two batucada strolls are planned for 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., before the Vira Vira family show at 4:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., a family balâti hosted by Cabr’E Can will follow the official speeches.
The evening will continue with the traditional Midsummer bonfire jumping at 7:30 p.m., a traditional ball at 8 p.m., then karaoke at 10 p.m.
A refreshment bar and a catering area will be available throughout the day for the benefit of the Alesian Occitan school.
