The United States carried out new bombings against Iran on Thursday, which announced responses against military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed Thursday June 11 to have fired ballistic missiles at an American command center in Jordan, in response to the United States’ strikes against Iran. Earlier in the night, Tehran announced responses against military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. The Islamic Republic also warned that its armed forces would target any ship attempting to pass through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Follow our live stream.

  • The American army is carrying out new “defensive strikes” against Iran. These strikes targeted “Iranian military surveillance facilities, communications systems and air defense sites across the country” during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. According to Iranian media, explosions were heard on the island of Qeshm, in Minab, Sirik and in the port of Bandar Abbas, in the south of the country.
  • Donald Trump accuses Tehran of procrastinating in negotiations. “We were really close to making a deal, but they keep leading us on, they don’t care about us”the President of the United States raged to the press on Wednesday. The American Minister of Defense, Pete Hegseth, criticized Iran for “play cat and mouse” in the negotiations.
  • Benjamin Netanyahu calls on the Lebanese to “join” Israel. “Israel is not at war with you. We are at war with Hezbollah, which has taken your country hostage. (…) We aspire to peace with you, with Lebanon”declared the head of the Israeli government in a message in English addressed to the Lebanese people on Wednesday evening.

  • #MIDDLE_EAST Kuwait’s civil aviation authority announced the reopening of its airspace, which had been closed after attacks by Iran in retaliation for US strikes. “Traffic in Kuwaiti airspace has returned to normal”said the organization in a press release.

After the American strikes during the night, the Iranian navy announced that “two ships trying to illegally cross the Strait of Hormuz were hit”without further details. “You are making the sacred Strait of Hormuz dangerous?! We will make this region hell for you”threatened Revolutionary Guards Air Force Commander Sardar Mousavi.

    Washington, which for its part imposes a blockade on Iranian ports, has denied any blockage of the strait. “Commercial ships continue to transit the Strait of Hormuz this evening”wrote on X the US military Command for the Middle East (Centcom).

  • #MIDDLE_EAST Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority announced “temporary closure of airspace” of the country, attacked by Iran in retaliation for American strikes. “This measure follows Iranian attacks against the State of Kuwait and the potential risks this represents for civil aviation in the region,” said the authority in a press release.

  • #MIDDLE_EAST The United States carried out new bombings at dawn against Iran, which announced responses against military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain and promised to target all ships venturing into the Strait of Hormuz.

    The strikes, which the US military says targeted “Iranian military surveillance facilities, communications systems and air defense sites across the country”were triggered after Donald Trump accused Tehran of procrastinating in negotiations to end the war in the Middle East.

    In retaliation for the latest US strikes, the Revolutionary Guards said they had launched drones on the military bases of Ali al-Salem and Ahmad al-Jaber, in Kuwait, and on the air base of Sheikh Isa, in Bahrain. Iranian media had previously announced an attack on the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet in Bahrain.
